Flashpaper alternative for Vista

Post by smallfish » Tue Dec 22, 2009 1:18 am

Flashpaper was a fabulous tool for sharing the output of any program inside of a Connect Pro meeting. However it will not run under Vista and Adobe has no plans to release a new version supporting Vista in the future.

Since we still don't have native support for PDF uploads in Connect Pro 7 (the natural solution for this product since it is called Acrobat Connect Pro after all) do any users out there have any other products they could suggest for creating SWF files from program output?

Right now, I either suggest that users keep a machine with XP around for this purpose or we have them send us PDFs in a pinch and we convert the output for them and return it. This is not a very satisfactory solution for anyone.

General feedback or insight from forum users would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone has any "inside" knowledge about when we might see native PDF support in Connect Pro, please let me know.

If you don't want to reveal "privileged" information in a public forum, a private response to my email address would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

smallfish
