Hello Print2Flash and community,

I'm looking to use Print2Flash from my ColdFusion Webserver to translate various docs for the users of my website. However, I am concerned if those documents have malicious macros within them with MS World or Excel. My question are there any security measures in place with Print2Flash to prevent malicious macros from executing from the server when opening and transforming these documents or if there is a malicious macro in place will it execute when Print2Flash opens the document?

Will

Print2Flash does not tamper with Office security settings. It just instructs the respective Office application to print the document. If you are concerned with this issue, you should disable macros in Office documents. This is achieved by setting security options in Options dialogs of Office applications.
