"No application is associated" error while there is one

Hello,

We get "No application is associated with the specified file for this operation" error while there is an association. The problem extension is pps. Office is installed on machine, and ppt files are printed okay. But when we want to print ppt files we get the error above. If we try to manually print pps file on computer (using either right-click/print or drag-drop to print2flash printer icon) it's working ok.

We're using server mode.

What can be the problem?

Waiting for your response.

This problem occurs because no application is registered in the OS for printing of PPS files. Though PowerPoint is capable of opening and printing of PPS files, it does not register in the system for printing them. You may try to register PowerPoint for printing of PPS files by importing the attached registry export file into the registry (it was tested with MS P:owerPoint 2003). Just unpack the file and double click it.

By default Internet Explorer registers for printing of HTML files in Windows. If you setup another browser as a defauit brwoser, you need to revert to Internet Explorer and make it a default browser. This can be achieved by clicking Tools/Internet Options, switching to Programs tab, checking "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser" option and restarting the browser and/or OS.
