Re: "This content requires the Adobe Flash Player..."

JavaScript also needs to be enabled for the page. I'm guessing that's not your problem... but I thought I'd mention it anyway [just in case].

I've seen similar issues with the "NoScript" Add-On.

Re: Mouse pointer disappears

I'm not sure about your specific problem... but when I had problems with the mouse cursor disappearing, it was due to Print2Flash's "custom mouse cursor". Perhaps this post can help?

Re: Example of Javascript Function for setTextSelectionRange

I'm having problems trying to call setTextSelectionRange() via javascript in the browser. I'm not sure how to handle the "sel" object and what arguments to pass. Would you happen to have an example? Documentation for that method is found here: http://print2flash.com/help/DocumentAPIObjects.php?r=#S...

Re: I got same script error with Mootool Lib

Hi mamaco. Thanks so much for your reply! I'm very excited to hear that you have found a work-around for this problem. I use simple javascript instead of Prototype lib,it works well. Could you please clarify what you mean by "simple javascript"? I have tried using native javascript insertion methods...

Mac: cursor disappears in elements over Print2Flash docs

In my application, I use invisible iframes to cover HTML content while dialogs are displayed. This method works nicely for covering flash content such as Print2Flash docs. However, in Mac/Firefox, the mouse will sometimes disappear when hovering over the iframe. In Mac/Safari the mouse will *always*...

Re: Resizing according to the browser page?

Anyone have any code samples for dealing with the resizing issue? Or other suggestions? I don't know Flex... but here is the AS2 code that is working for me: var stageListener:Object = new Object(); stageListener.onResize = function () { p2fDoc.setSize(Stage.width, Stage.height); } Stage.addListene...

Re: JavaScript errors when closing document in Internet Explorer

Try to use other methods for inserting content in iE: insertAdjacentHTML, insertAdjacentElement or insertBefore Thanks again for your helpful suggestions. I tried all of the above insertion methods, and the same behavior still showed up. Unless you have some other trick up your sleeve, I'm beginnin...

Re: JavaScript errors when closing document in Internet Explorer

I have verified this problem. It happens only when I insert the HTML dynamically via JavaScript. [Unfortunately, this is the only option for my application.] Here is the code that is used in Windows XP with IE6, where I can reproduce the problem 100% of the time: '<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6...

Re: Resizing according to the browser page?

When your stage resizes, you want to make sure that your print2flash doc resizes along with it. I got around that problem while embedding in Flash by creating an onResize listener on the Stage itself. Inside the listener, use p2fDoc.setSize, passing Stage.width and Stage.height.
